84-4a-107. Federal reserve regulations and operating circulars. Regulations of the board of governors of the federal reserve system and operating circulars of the federal reserve banks supersede any inconsistent provision of this article to the extent of the inconsistency.

Article 4a is an attempt to codify the law of credit wire transfers to the extent they are not governed by other general laws, regulations and agreements. 84-4a-107 and 84-4a-108 defer to the regulations of the federal reserve and the electronic funds transfer act. Article 4a also defers to articles 3 and 4 where an order to pay is made on an instrument or item rather than directly to a receiving bank. See 84-4a-103(a)(1)(iii).
