76-1519a. Lease of part of property at Norton for certain purposes authorized; conditions; disposition of proceeds. The secretary for aging and disability services is hereby authorized and empowered to lease, upon such terms and conditions as it shall deem advisable, any part of the property at the Norton state hospital, which is not now needed for the care and treatment of tuberculosis patients, for the purpose of providing a home for the aged or for the establishment of a school or home for children and adults with intellectual or developmental disability or for the establishment of a public or private nonprofit alcoholic treatment center. Such lease shall not be made for a period of more than two years, but may be renewed for like periods from time to time. All moneys received from any such lease shall be paid into the state treasury, and the state treasurer shall credit the same to the general fee fund of the state sanatorium of tuberculosis.
