65-123. Funeral services for individuals who have died while suffering from an infectious or contagious disease shall be conducted in accordance with rules and regulations of the secretary of health and environment. In diseases requiring quarantine of contacts, a public funeral service may be permitted only if the casket remains closed and those contacts subject to quarantine who attend the funeral are adequately segregated from the public.
