59-2253. When any intermediate account of a trustee is filed without a petition of the trustee for a hearing thereon, a copy of the account shall be transmitted to each known beneficiary and proof of such transmission shall be filed with the court. The trustee or any beneficiary may file a petition for the approval of the account, and any beneficiary may file a petition for the disapproval thereof. The trustee shall, subject to the provisions of K.S.A. 59-1607 and 59-1608, file a petition for the approval of a final account. When any such petition is filed, notice of the hearing shall be given to the trustee and each known beneficiary, other than the petitioner, for such time and in such manner as the court deems reasonable.
