CASE ANNOTATIONS

1. Sufficiency of petition, names; presumption of validity. St. L.& S.F. Rly. Co. v. Mossman, 30 Kan. 336, 343, 2 P. 146.

2. Constitutionality of act questioned but not decided. The State v. Moon, 45 Kan. 145, 25 P. 614.

3. This act not repealed by Laws of 1879, ch. 175 (see K.S.A. 47-306 through 47-308). Martin v. Railway Co., 92 Kan. 595, 601, 141 P. 599.

4. Laws relating to loose stock discussed in construing K.S.A. 47-122. Wilson v. Rule, 169 Kan. 296, 299, 219 P.2d 690; Abbott v. Howard, 169 Kan. 305, 311, 219 P.2d 696.

5. County petition herd law did not establish strict liability; purpose was to require owners to fence animals in. Walborn v. Stockman, 10 Kan. App. 2d 597, 601, 602, 706 P.2d 465 (1985).
