CASE ANNOTATIONS

1. Section construed in connection with preceding section. Forbes v. Mohr, 69 Kan. 342, 76 P. 827.

2. Deposit means something received by bank. Bloomheart v. Bank Commissioner, 114 Kan. 786, 794, 221 P. 279.

3. Act does not give bank patron right to treat money as other than ordinary deposit. Ramsey v. Bank Commissioner, 115 Kan. 212, 214, 222 P. 117.

4. Receiver cannot bring action on behalf of individual for deposits received during insolvency. Barret v. Skalsky, 118 Kan. 162, 233 P. 1043.
